Opening 10/11 at artstreamstudios by artstreamstudios.

I will be travelling to Boston & New Hampshire for a little vacation and a visit to the Dwelling opening at Artstream! You'll be able to purchase the work online soon on their website. I'm leaving on Wednesday and will return on October 16th. You can learn bits about my process by reading this Art Esprit interview.

If you need things to do in Boston, may I suggest:

The ICA (contemporary art!) - Red line to South Station, transfer to Silver Line to Waterfront

Museum of Fine Arts - (Green E Line, Museum of Fine Arts)

Davis Square in Somerville (Red Line, Davis) - specifically D Squared (gifts & treasures), Mr. Crepe, Poor Little Rich Girl (vintage/consignment)

Jamaica Plain (Take the 39 Bus from Back Bay Station) - Salmagundi, On Centre, Boomerangs, JP Licks - a bunch of amazing independent art/book/music/clothing stores as well as the original JP Licks, great coffee & amazing fresh/handmade ice cream!

Coolidge Corner - (Green C Line to Coolidge Corner), Brookline Booksmith (amazing independently owned bookstore with tons of deals, gifts, treasures, trinkets, and a massive basement of used books), Peet's Coffee (amazing, fair trade), A Thousand Villages (fair trade goods from around the world), Coolidge Corner Theatre (it's an institution, they show midnight films all the time and often show classics)

Brookline Village - Green D Line to Brookline Village, there's a puppetry theatre (kinda creepy, but puppets aren't really my thing, if they are yours, it's a great stop)

Harvard Square - Red Line to Harvard, the standard trip to Boston requires a trip to Cambridge to see Harvard University, the Coop (Harvard's bookstore/college store), Harvard Bookstore, another independent bookstore, not as good as the Booksmith, in my opinion, but still worth a shot. If you guys are meat eaters, try Mr. Bartley's Hamburgers, right on Massachusetts Avenue near the bookstore, see buskers performing

The Other Side Cafe - fantastic selection of beer (including local and microbrews, may I suggest ANY porter from the Cambridge Brewing Company, if they've got it on tap), vegan and vegetarian options, it's very hipster but it's got great food and great beers. (Green Line B, C, or D to Hynes Convention Center)

OK, phew! Enough of me as a travel agent. I hope you guys have a lovely time, I always get excited when people come to my city and feel the need to tell them about all the neat non-touristy/typical things to do.
